[39] Gnchak Committee -- a committee of the Armenian petty-bourgeois party called Gnchak which was formed in Geneva in 1887 on the initiative of Armenian students. In Transcaucasia the party assumed the title of Armenian Social-Democratic Party and conducted a splitting policy in the labour movement. After the revolutian of 1905-07 the party degenerated into a reactionary nationalist group. [p.136]
